SMC Pneumatics VXK Series 2-port solenoid valve

14 November, 2009

Designed to improve valve performance and to stop leakage, the VXK 2-port solenoid valve has an integral stainless steel 100 mesh filter unit that effectively removes any foreign matter in the circulating fluids, thereby protecting downstream equipment and, at the same time, ensuring longer valve life.

Series ZP2V vacuum saving valves

13 November, 2009 by

Developed initially for the semiconductor market, the Series ZP2V vacuum-saving valves are designed to shut down the suction line when any leakage is detected from the vacuum pad not being fully aligned with the work piece or when the work piece is missing.

SMC Series PVQ proportional solenoid valve

13 November, 2009

The Series PVQ proportional solenoid valve is designed for a wide range of applications - including vacuum 0.1 Pa.abs - and accurately adjusts the flow rate smoothly and precisely by varying the electrical input current.

Vacuum valve brings energy-saving benefits

11 November, 2009

Machine builders using vacuum for handling or pick-and-place applications now have an energy-saving option with the Series ZP2V vacuum saving valve from SMC.

Instrumentation needle valve

10 November, 2009 by

Parker Hannifin’s H-series half-inch instrumentation needle valve is designed to give plant engineers the means to improve reliability, and save both money and space, in process and instrumentation applications involving viscous and contaminated media.

Correct valve selection

13 October, 2009

Microfluidics is associated with the control of very small volumes of fluids. Throughout life science industries the precise control of fluids is a major factor in the successful design of devices and instruments often used in testing and analysis processes. Accurate and repeatable results and reliable performance can often only be obtained through the correct selection and application of specialised valve technology.

Pneumatic quarter turn actuators

21 September, 2009 by

The DFPB pneumatic quarter turn actuators are designed for use in water treatment plants, the pharmaceutical industry or in food production plants. These actuators can be used to perform opening and closing movements in process valves.

Compact manifold design increases flexibility

10 August, 2009

In response to a specific request to improve safety and operating efficiency, a hydraulic system has been redesigned to eliminate the use of multiple manifolds and valves. Effectively replacing these items with a single manifold, the new design also incorporates state-of-the-art electronic control components.

Fluid power company appoints Australian distributor

05 August, 2009

K-One Fluid Power has been appointed Australian distributor for AMCA Hydraulic Fluid Power and its APV range of hydraulic proportional control valves.

Valves

30 July, 2009

The VSNB valves can be used with both single-acting and double-acting actuators which feature a NAMUR interface.

Vacuum check valve

30 July, 2009

The PIAB Vactrap COAX is a check valve with an integrated Pi12-2 COAX cartridge for decentralised systems and a built-in blow-off valve to provide a quick release of objects.

Wireless valve position sensor

30 July, 2009

The XYR 6000 valve position sensor helps improve overall plant reliability by giving users the ability to remotely monitor a greater number of applications within their processing facilities.

Rotary valve

30 July, 2009

Emerson Process Management has introduced the Fisher Posi-Seal A81 rotary valve. Tight shutoff and the long seal-life capability of the A81 make it suitable for on/off applications.

Safety locking handle

21 July, 2009 by

The Praher Valves butterfly valves, diaphragm valves and ‘S4’ type ball valves are now supplied complete with a locking mechanism.

Vacuum safety valve

21 July, 2009 by

The Vactrap is a check valve which is also equipped with a built-in blow-off valve to provide quick release of an object. It is also available in a special version in which the vacuum pump and blow-off connections are interconnected (x-drilled), making it suitable for ejectors with an integrated blow-off valve, such as PIAB’s AVM models. The Vactrap can be used in an existing centralised vacuum system with external blow-off possibilities and it is also possible to get it with an integrated Pi12-2 COAX cartridge for decentralised vacuum systems.
