Turck has introduced h-style (3-branch) and H-style (4-branch) M16 tees, designed for saving field installation time and hassle in comparison to hardwired cable tray installations. The tees are available in various configurations, including tees with a male connector on either side of the trunk line, integral connections or cable drops.

Exlar GSX and GSM linear actuators

17 December, 2010 | Applied Automation

Exlar’s GSX and GSM linear actuators now offer Class I, Division 2 certification. Suitable for process control valve and damper applications, the linear actuators provide continuous hold on the position of the valve stem or shaft. This allows for a fast response to small command signal changes without overshoot - even when friction is present. This design results in improved loop performance and reduced process variability.

Leuze electronic MSI-SR5 safety relay with AND function

17 December, 2010 | Balluff Pty Ltd

The MSI-SR5 safety relay can be used to connect several safety components so as to act on a single switch-off circuit using a logical AND link. Using the one relay, for example, the combined application of a safety light curtain for point of operation guarding and a protective door for access guarding can be realised up to Performance Level PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1.
