30 July, 2009

ProSoft Technology has released the 5204SE-MNET-PDPMV1 Modbus TCP to Profibus SE gateway, designed with special features to better support and easily integrate with Schneider Electric Modicon M340 processors.

1U serial device servers

09 June, 2009 by

The EKI-1528 and EKI-1526 serial device servers feature 8 and 16 RS232/422/485 serial ports in a 1U rackmount chassis.

Westermo ethernet extender

14 March, 2009

Westermo has released a high-speed industrial ethernet extender. The DDW-120 utilises SHDSL transmission technology, allowing existing twisted pair cables to be used to establish a high-speed remote connection between two ethernet networks. With transfer rates up to 5.7 Mbps and an operating distance of up to 15 km at lower data rates, this is an easy-to-install alternative to fibre-optic or radio systems when linking remote ethernet networks.

DeviceNet gateway

14 March, 2009 by

Turck has expanded its line of BL20 economy modules with the release of a DeviceNet gateway. This addition augments Turck’s current PROFIBUS-DP and CANopen gateways for the BL20 economy system.

Serial device servers

08 August, 2008

The EKI-1521 and EKI-1522 serial device servers allow RS232/422/485 serial devices to be remotely monitored, managed and controlled over ethernet and internet protocol (IP) networks. Equipped with dual 10/100Base-Tx ethernet ports, these devices ensure data transmission even in the event of a network link failure.
