Beckhoff EP5101 EtherCAT Box incremental encoder interface

15 September, 2011 by

The EP5101 EtherCAT Box is an interface for the direct connection of incremental encoders with differential inputs (RS485). Due to the optional interpolating microincrements functionality, the EP5101 can supply more precise axis positions for dynamic axes. It supports the synchronous reading of the encoder value together with other input data in the EtherCAT system via high-precision EtherCAT distributed clocks.

Moxa VPort 461 industrial video server

18 August, 2011 by

Moxa’s VPort 461 industrial video server now complies with ONVIF, which allows the product to be easily integrated with any existing IP-based security system, enhancing interoperability and deployment flexibility. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum, www.onvif.org) is a non-profit organisation that aims to develop a global open standard for the interface of IP-based security products.

Turck BL20 Economy gateways for EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP

27 May, 2011 by

Turck has released the BL20 Economy gateways for EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. Providing a flexible in-the-cabinet system for distributed I/O, these gateways can be paired with a broad range of I/O slices to suit users’ application communications and transparency requirements. RFID can also be incorporated in any distributed I/O product by applying the necessary RFID-S slices.

ICP DAS GW-7472 EtherNet/IP to Modbus RTU Master Gateway adapter

28 April, 2011 by

The GW-7472 EtherNet/IP to Modbus RTU Master Gateway adapter from ICP DAS is designed for data-exchange between the Modbus RTU network and the EtherNet/IP network. It reads the register data from the Modbus RTU slaves and then publishes this data to the input register of the EtherNet/IP scanner and vice versa.
