Indusoft to hold security webinar
InduSoft has announced a free webinar, System Security Using InduSoft Tools, to be held on 25 January 2012 (26 January locally) as part of its January focus on SCADA security.
With SCADA security more important than ever, InduSoft is committed to helping companies learn how to protect against holes and vulnerabilities in their SCADA systems. This webinar will show how to leverage the tools in InduSoft Web Studio software to protect critical processes from security threats and create a reliable SCADA/HMI.
In addition to learning how to protect traditional SCADA systems, the webinar will teach users to protect InduSoft Web Studio applications while taking advantage of the latest technologies, such as cloud computing and network access.
The webinar will include:
- an overview of possible security challenges
- demonstrations of the tools provided in InduSoft software that help protect applications against security threats
- examples of techniques used to create a secure system, as well as tips for measures to take during development
- a segment from an IT security professional at InduSoft, who will discuss network and cloud security when developing and deploying applications
- a Q&A session to answer participants’ questions about system security
The webinar is one hour long and will be held twice on Wednesday, 25 January at 8:00 am CST and 3:00 pm CST (8:00 am AEST 26 January).
All who register and attend will receive a free T-shirt, as well as a copy of the trial version of the InduSoft Web Studio software suite. Users who wish to demo or test InduSoft before the webinar can download the software here.
