Vega has introduced the Vegapuls 68 radar sensors designed for the demands of bulk solids level measurement. The sensors for bulk solids have a sensitivity a thousand times higher than that of radar sensors for liquids and are thus suitable for the widely varying reflection characteristics of solid surface geometries.
