The S651CD submersible pH/ORP sensor from Sensorex adds a pH glass protection feature and acrylamide reference gel.

The S651CD is designed for measurements in tanks, flumes and sewer lines, in addition to other applications with high suspended solids, where flocculation operations require low velocities and in tanks with high agitation. It features a quick-disconnect design for lower operating costs, a flat surface to resist coating and the option to be mounted at a 45° angle facing into the flow to further increase scrubbing action across the measured surface. The S651CD sensor is available in CPVC and with or without ATC Elements.

Sensorex has also released the S656CD insertion sensor that features an insertion assembly, allowing pH measurements to be made in pressurised tanks and main lines without shutting down the system for electrode maintenance. It further reduces maintenance with a quick-disconnect design and the ability to be installed in seconds with no tools. The S656CD electrode features an adjustable insertion depth that allows it to be placed in a turbulent flow region to operate in self-cleaning mode. It is available in CPVC construction and with or without ATC Elements.

Both the S651CD and the S656CD feature standard HT gels and reduced breakage potential, and a measurement range of 0-14 pH (0-12 pH without Na+ error) at ±2000 mV for ORP. They operate at a minimum temperature of 10ºC and up to 85ºC depending on the maximum pressure desired, which can be up to 80 psig.
