Sensorex CLD500 chlorine dioxide sensors

Thursday, 07 February, 2013 | Supplied by: Envirosensors Pty Ltd

Sensorex’s CLD500 chlorine dioxide sensors use advanced amperometric measurement technology to provide highly accurate monitoring of chlorine dioxide in disinfection applications. With two models covering the 0-2 ppm and 0-10 ppm full scale ranges, the sensors can be used in new installations or as a field replacement for existing sensors in chlorine dioxide generators and water-treatment systems.

The sensors’ advanced sensing membrane keeps cross sensitivity interference from free chlorine to a minimum. The sensor offers improved sensor stability over the entire operating temperature range. An integral 2-wire loop-powered transmitter with 4-20 mA output delivers readings to process control systems such as a PLC or DCS. The CLD502 covers the 0-2 ppm range, while the CLD510 model covers the 0-10 ppm. A large electrolyte reservoir with an easily replaced membrane cap and solution may reduce maintenance and improve sensor life.
