Rosemount Analytical Model RB pH sensor

Monday, 19 March, 2012 | Supplied by: Emerson

The Rosemount Analytical Model RB pH sensor is designed for optimum sensor life in demanding scrubber applications.

pH sensors are most vulnerable to failure due to poisoning of the reference junction. The RB sensor features a proprietary multijunction that hinders reference poisoning. This design is particularly successful against aggressive sulfides found in scrubbers. The unique multijunction reference chamber of the RB extends survivability. In addition, the sensor is built of chemically resistant Kynar, adding to its long life.

Instead of replacing the entire sensor, the Model RB sensor can be reassembled inside its titanium sheath, high-pressure body, reducing costs for replacement and shipping.

The sensor allows for optional installation methods including inline, submerged or ball-valve insertion.
