Oil-in-water measurement

Enviro-Flu-HC is a new generation of highly sensitive submersible sensors for oil-in-water measurement. The UV fluorescence principle used for detection is claimed to be more sensitive than other existing detection principles, such as infrared scattering.

The sensor allows the detection of PAH traces in water down to single ppb levels, eg, in drinking water or condensate applications. Typical applications are: discharge monitoring of industrial plants, leakage detection and many others.

Because of the design, the sensor can even be submerged to 300 m depth, in both fresh and salt water.

The sensors can be used either in stationary or portable applications. The innovative coating on the lens protects the optics from fouling and oil-films. The device is stable and virtually maintenance free.

Other applications include: drinking water, wastewater, airport monitoring, cooling water, desalination, refineries, pipeline leakage detection, marine research and mineral processing.
