Endress+Hauser has updated its Memograph M visual data managers to offer users more flexibility and freedom. The new version can monitor up to 54 inputs and provide information on all process variables via its 7″ colour display. It can also store data, control a process and provide critical information via the web, email or a mobile phone.

Interfacing with Memograph is easy via the four soft keys and navigator on its front face. Alternatively, a USB keyboard can be connected or it can be remotely managed via the device’s built-in web server. The Memograph can also be connected to a laptop via a second USB port located on the front panel. Either an analog or wireless GSM modem can also be easily connected via optional RS323 or ethernet interface cards allowing users to interact with Memograph via their mobile phone.

Once Memograph is connected to a modem, the tele-alarm software makes the configuration of the modem and all remote functions easy. SMS or email text messages can be set up so the user can receive and acknowledge alarms or obtain instantaneous process values. Alarm statistics can be received and the device’s output relays can be controlled via a nominated mobile phone, all with maximum available security.
