Hach LDO (luminescent dissolved oxygen) probe
Hach’s LDO (luminescent dissolved oxygen) probe requires no calibration for the 2-year life of the sensor cap, which means it is ready to start measuring dissolved oxygen ‘out of the box’.
Due to a 3D calibration procedure that is conducted prior to shipping, the probe will not drift and is more accurate than previously, and an improved body design optimises the probe’s temperature sensor to provide a fast response time to process variability. The LDO probe is widely used for measuring dissolved oxygen in trade waste treatment plants, so that the aeration process is controlled at its optimum level. Having an accurate control over dissolved oxygen in a plant will allow significant energy savings in the aeration process.
By utilising Hach’s luminescent technology for measuring DO, the probe doesn’t have membranes which need to be replaced or an electrolyte solution to replenish, making it virtually maintenance free. To make sure routine cleaning cycles are never missed, the probe offers the operator customisable diagnostic alert indicators, ensuring the probe can operate at its maximum performance level.
