SI Instruments has released the tensile and compression tester for application testing.
The tester comprises of a Mecmesin VersaTest test stand, which has a maximum capacity of 2500 N and variable speed range of up to 500 mm/min and a stroke of up to 500 mm and a Mecmesin Advanced force gauge (AFG).
The Mecmesin AFG features peak hold in tension and compression direction, selectable units of measurement and is fitted with an RS232 output for computer connection. The Mecmesin AFG is fully programmable and is therefore suitable for manufactured parts testing.
