Steel trackballs

Backplane Systems Technology has released the InduKey industrial 38 mm optical and 25 mm stainless steel trackballs, the TKH-TB Series.

The Optical Trackball is available in two variants: the standard TKH-TB38o-F5 version with a free moving trackball requiring a low actuation force or the TKH-TB38o-F60 version featuring additional front sealing, which prevents the penetration of rough contaminants.

The integration of the optical scanning technology allows the Optical 38 mm Trackball to be sealed to IP68 (static). It is completely maintenance-free and works also when getting in contact with liquids such as water, oil and special emulsions. It is best suitable for applications in industrial and medical environments that must be clean and disinfected.

The Optical Trackball is robust, resistant to contaminants and durable. This high-quality product is available with a PS/2 or USB connection. The stainless steel trackball TKH-TB25v-4502 with 25 mm diameter is resistant to dust and liquid up to IP65. This trackball is suitable for industrial applications or public environments where a level of protection is required. The trackball can easily be mounted by screwing studs on the rearside.
