Rated weight indicator

The X320 is an extreme environment IP68/IP69K rated weight indicator.

It is suitable for use in food processing, automotive, chemical or pharmaceutical applications or applications that require reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.

The food-grade, impact-resistant plastic housing incorporates a double "o' ring seal which provides performance over traditional stainless steel enclosures. It is resistant to temperature variations and water condensation.

The device has been tested with high-pressure water jets (1400 psi) at high temperature (up to 80°C) and has been submerged in water to over 1 m.

The use of a capacitive keyboard allows the front panel to be constructed as a single piece. Traditional membrane keypads are the weak link on most designs. The keypad senses an operator's finger, whether gloved or not, from the inside of the enclosure. There are no moving parts to wear out, no glue to deteriorate and no keypad tails to fail due to vibration or corrosion. The strength of the single front facia increases the durability of the instrument, protecting the LCD and electronics from external impacts.

It provides general-purpose weighing functions and has an integrated check-weigh function with status LEDs built into the front facia.

The 20 mm LCD has an LED backlight allowing the unit to be used in all lighting conditions. Three power options are available: 110-240 VAC, 12-24 VDC and rechargeable NiMH battery operation. The magnetically coupled opto-link on the front panel makes for a convenient temporary connection of the indicator to a laptop USB port for configuration.
