Rack mount unit

Xycom Automation has released the 1510 Industrial "Node Box" PC and the 1600 series of Industrial Rack-Mount units with Pentium 4. Also launched is a third variation of the 1600 series, the 1612. This unit is 18" deep for more space constrained rack-mount applications.

Now available with a Pentium 4 2.0 GHz processor and with ISA expansion supported by this unit you can offer a solution that is not readily available from commercial sources.

The 1612 is the third in the 1600 family of Industrial Rack-mount units. The 1613 and 1614, although successful, has a greater depth than desired by some customers. The 1612 is essentially the same unit as the 1614, but is 5.0" inches shorter (2.0" shorter than a 1613). The 1612 has the same back plane and drive options as the other 2 units, however it is only available with a single AC power supply. All three units offer 3 full-length ISA and 7 varying lengths (depending on unit) PCI expansion slots. All three units now ship with Pentium 4 2.0 GHz processors for the same list price as their 433 MHz Celeron predecessors.

The 1510 and 1600 offerings use a single board computer that offers dual 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports, 2 USB ports, Audio ports (in, out, mic), and 4X AGP graphics controller. The video controller uses up to 64 MB system RAM to provide superior full colour, high resolution, and 3-D performance. Also included are an RS-232 port and a selectable RS-232/422/485 port.
