Wonderware has announced the release of an enhanced DataAccessServer (DAServer) supporting Rockwell ControlLogix controllers.
DAServers are Wonderware's next-generation I/O servers and a significant part of Wonderware's FactorySuite A2 product family, an extension of the existing FactorySuite product line.
Wonderware's DAServers are built on the ArchestrA architecture and offer enhanced communication diagnostics and performance. Each DAServer is designed to provide connectivity between client applications based on Wonderware's SuiteLink protocol and OPC and DDE protocols running on the Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, as well as data devices supported by the specific protocol being translated.
