PLC with inbuilt GSM phone

FF-Automation has released the AutoLog GSM-PLC series for remote control and monitoring applications.

The AutoLog series range from a small 4 DI, 1 AI and two relay output model up to 72 DI, 72 DO, 32 Al and 16 AO.

AutoLog GSM-PLCs have an inbuilt GSM phone to communicate wirelessly through the GSM network to a mobile phone, through the Internet/intranet and also have RS485/RS232 Modbus RTU protocol. They can also communicate with each other via the GSM wireless network for forward command prompts.

Programming parameters can be done with a GSM phone, from a PC via the Alpro setup software or through the Internet via secure web pages. The GSM-PLCs are designed for control and monitoring of critical parameters with the added feature of having SMS text messages sent directly to a mobile phone for alarm conditions.

The GSM connection is bidirectional so it is possible to have supervision to a mobile phone or PC for measurement reports, alarms, events etc.

The GSM-PLC series was designed to be used in machine-to-machine applications for remote supervising and controlling. AutoLog GSM-PLC series integrates automation functionality with the GSM world with built-in features like easy-to-use programming language, incoming call identification, calendar and time controls, and a phonebook for up to 100 numbers.
