Omron Electronics has developed a series of compact PLC training consoles based around the CJ1M series CPUs.
The CJ1M trainers incorporating 10 digital inputs and six digital (transistor) outputs inbuilt in the CPU.
These points are configurable for use as general purpose, interrupt, quick response, high speed and pulse inputs and/or outputs. The consoles also carry ethernet and analog cards and can be custom configured to cater for various training requirements.
Programming is easy with Omron's CX-Programmer v3.1, which is based around conventional PLC Ladder Logic and comments/symbols can be stored on board with a CompactFlash memory card.
Omron offers PLC courses ranging from introductory through to advanced, along with course written specifically to meet user requirements. Courses can be conducted at Omron offices or at another location.
