Novatech has redesigned its top-selling 1630 model oxygen analyser. Taking advantage of advances in solid-state electronics, the series 1730 has a greater range of features while still retaining the ease of use of the 1630 series.
A faster processor and larger display gives both operator and technical staff the information they need to ensure an optimum combustion environment for all types of furnaces, boilers, ovens, kilns and incinerators to maximise savings and minimise greenhouse gas emissions.
Key features of the 1730 series are alarm logging that will store 4000 events, recording date time of activation, acceptance and clearance, making it easy to pinpoint problems.
Data export through the serial port or Modbus allows remote diagnosis.
With three levels of protection, the 1730 series allows operators at the factory level to access alarm events but the system is locked and prevents unauthorised or accidental access to the calibration and commissioning levels thus ensuring safety in factory floor operation.
A switchmode power supply automatically senses voltages between 86-265 VAC at 47-63 Hz, preventing accidental overloading of the instrument.
Another key feature of the 1730 series is the ability to upgrade the firmware using an EEROM to flash the transmitter. Distributors and agents will be able to download the latest upgrades from the Novatech website and be able to flash all the customer's analysers using the one EEROM, a large saving in time and money for customers and agents alike, especially those with multiple units.
