Multi-function calibrator

Martel Electronics has introduced the MC-1200 multi-function calibrator. The MC-1200 measures and sources 13 thermocouple types, 13 RTD types, ohms, current, voltage, frequency, and pulse trains.

The MC-1200 is capable of 0.2°C accuracy for temperature, 0.015% of reading for milliamps and voltage. Frequency can be measured or simulated from counts per minute to 10 kHz with accuracies of 0.05%. It features an RS232 communications port, pressure module communications port compatible with Fluke 700 series, Mensor and Martel pressure modules, and an isolated mA/V read-back circuit. The accuracy of the MC-1200 is specified over a -10 to +50°C temperature range.

The MC-1200 provides access to its laboratory-grade instrument performance through a simple-to-use, interface. A large, backlit, menu-driven graphics display ensures simple operation. Arrow keys and direct numeric keypad entry provide quick, precise setting of output parameters. All T/C, RTD, ohms, voltage, current, frequency, and pulse train source modes can be programmed with dedicated set-points to speed calibration and linearity tests. The MC-1200 is compatible with smart transmitters and PLCs. A built-in 250 ohm resistor provides compatibility with Hart devices.
