Teamcenter In-Service has been released to extend the value of product life cycle management to organisations involved in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).

Teamcenter provides a product life cycle management backbone to support MRO with its capabilities for configuration management and part serialisation; asset tracking; document management including service and maintenance manuals and visual publishing; service bulletins and change control, vendor management, workflow/ process management; and real-time collaboration.

With total asset visibility, the software provides service teams with a full range of continuous product knowledge management that defines an enterprise's operational assets and service offerings from concept design to build-to-service deployment.

Teamcenter In-Service provides total configuration knowledge throughout the entire life cycle, including views to a full range of product configurations, as well as to product and process knowledge associated with each configuration. This base of knowledge, with Teamcenter's advanced search and navigation features, allows enterprises to: access configuration, product and process knowledge for every stage in the product life cycle; improve service-related decision-making by assessing change impact for all configurations of products in all life cycle states; and incorporate service experiences into future product and service offerings.
