Labels for difficult surfaces

Peacock Bros has a range of thermal transfer barcode labels that will adhere permanently to both coarse and flexible surfaces.

Using an aggressive permanent adhesive compound pre-applied to standard thermal transfer barcode labels, these labels will effectively adhere to raw sawn undressed timber, carpet, textiles, tyres and any similar material. This development in label technology enables barcode identification opportunities for businesses that have not been able to use it previously.

Companies that need to track and trace items within their own facilities can now simply apply barcoded thermal transfer labels to standard wooden pallets (even old weathered pallets) that will assist product tracking and inventory recording data without the need for expensive custom-built containers. The same application can be used for tracking and/or identifying stock samples and work-in-progress. The label surface will also accept handwritten information and labels can be made into multi-parts for order picking data.

The labels are water resistant, UV stable and compatible with any thermal transfer printer and will withstand temperatures of between -40 and +70°C.
