The ClorTec on-site hypochlorite generating systems generate 0.8% sodium hypochlorite solution by combining three common consumables: salt, water and electricity and range in capacity from 1 to 1360 kg/day.
Portable generation units for disinfection of water in isolated rural areas are also available. On-site generation is an alternative to chlorine gas and bulk sodium hypochlorite.
Applications include potable water, wastewater, odour and corrosion control, cooling towers, oxidation and swimming pool disinfection.
The ClorTec T and CT series are component-based and consist of a modular configuration. This design allows for ease in serviceability and expansion potential. The primary components can be arranged to optimise available space and customised systems are available.
Other benefits of on-site generation include the elimination of handling and storing hazardous chemicals, exemption from risk management planning and minimisation of disinfection by-products.
All units are NSF standard 61 approved, ETV certified and DWI approved.
