The Fastfill 40 container filling and sealing machine has been developed as part of Packaging Automation's volumetric range.

Operating at up to 40 packs per minute (subject to product type), the compact Fastfill 40 is targeted at producers within the convenience sector and offers a host of benefits to anyone producing drinks, yoghurts, cream, sauces, dips, dressings, liquid desserts and similar products.

It will seal pre-cut lids as well as film from roll stock material, and a date coder can be accommodated for both. Through the use of stainless steel and easy-to-remove parts, clean-ability has been built in to allow the strictest hygiene standards to be maintained. It is claimed to be easy to use so minimal operator training is required.

Flexibility is another key design feature: as well as liquid foods the Fastfill 40 can also be used with dry products such as cereals, nuts and confectionery. Different sized pots can be easily handled as it has quick-release locator segments.
