The Banjo Dry-Mate Dry-Disconnect is designed for safe and easy spill-free hose connection. The unit, which is available in stainless steel and polypropylene, is suitable for critical applications where spillage must be avoided.
The double ball valve design of the unit allows for maximum flows. The two halves are coupled together using a cam lever action for positive engagement. When liquid is flowing, the halves cannot be uncoupled without turning the handles to a closed position. When the halves are apart, the handles cannot be turned to open position, ensuring no spillage of dangerous chemicals and helping prevent contamination.
The 316 stainless steel dry-disconnect can be provided with viton EPD and Kalrez face seals. Features include: 100% PTFE ball seats; 100 psi maximum operating pressure; and 149°C maximum operating temperature. Sizes include: 25 mm full port; 40 mm full port; and 50 mm standard port (female NPT and BSP threads).
The polypropylene dry-disconnect features include: lightweight; unrestricted 1½" flow; minimal fluid spillage; easy to use; economical; reduced risk of exposure; wide range of chemical resistance; cannot be uncoupled in open position; and 100 psi maximum operating pressure.
