The unit is designed specifically to allow it to be used alongside public safety prevalent portables from Motorola.
The unit incorporates an 1800 mA low-profile Li-Ion battery that allows the unit to be charged in the current XTS5000 chargers as well as providing a hirose connector to also allow use with mainstream 3-wire surveillance audio accessories.
