The Honeywell UDA2182-series analyser is a dual input unit that measures up to two conductivity, pH/ORP and dissolved oxygen loops. The 'mix and match' design enables easy field modification of inputs for a wide range of applications.
The UDA2182 offers complete flexibility in an IP66 rated unit. Two PV values with corresponding UOM (unit of measure), temperature, alarm state, scales, and limits, tagging, and status messages can be displayed simultaneously. Menu-driven configuration of the UDA2182 is claimed to be intuitive, fast and easy. A set-up menu is provided for every configuration task. PID control is also available.
The unit can be used as a single input and a dual input instrument. The input boards are factory calibrated and easily replaced. Addition of more relays or an analog output is done with a single board. The mix and match design reduces the cost of unwanted features and increases flexibility. When programming, prompts will only appear to program the parameters that apply to the analyser set-up chosen.
The infrared connection provides a non-intrusive wireless connection with the instrument and maintains IP66 integrity. Using Honeywell's Process Instrument Explorer software, configurations can be duplicated, upload or download in a matter of seconds via a pocket PC.
