A non-contact coded safety switch, PSENcode, from Pilz meets the requirements for safety gate monitoring, has a high level of security and 10 can be connected in a single series.
PSENcode satisfies category 4 of AS4024.1. The definite assignment of a switch and its counterpart makes it almost impossible to defeat the safety gate as required by state plant regulations. A fully coded version of the switch is also available for particularly demanding safety applications.
Ten safety switches can be connected in series and meet category 4 requirements, making PSENcode suitable for complex plant and minimising the amount of wiring involved.
There is no need to wire a second switch. Five directions of actuation and a long switching distance of at least 17 mm ensure maximum flexibility during installation. Dust resistant and waterproof, the PSENcode is rated at IP67 and can be used in the pharmaceutical and food industry as well as on metal processing plant and machinery.
