Chemical metering pump

Rotary Power's CO1 metering pump is a 2.0 cc/rev, variable displacement unit, intended to meet the increasing variety of industrial demands for smaller displacement pumps with precision metering capabilities.

This latest high performance unit is suitable for all types of polyol blends and isocyanates used in the polyurethane foam industry, and also for many other applications that require accurate and repetitive dosing of chemical fluids.

Design features of this pump include: delivery pressures up to 250 bar, depending on product characteristics; viscosity range 1-2000 cSt; fixed or variable delivery with high metering accuracy ensured by pressure-balanced controls; low operating temperatures because through-case suction draws fresh fluid through and around the bearings and other hot-spots. Continuous circulation minimises the risk of hard crystals developing within the pump; the shaft seal design incorporates twin teflon lips running on a ceramic bush, and allows case and inlet pressures up to 20 bar. Leakage indicator provision is included and the seal's service-friendly cartridge design helps provide maximum operator protection from hazardous products; and no leakage hose is required because the pumps are drained internally.
