John Morris Scientific has released the Kistler 5049/5155 charge amplifier, which the manufacturer can fit very easily to the injection moulding machines. The automatic detection of volumetric filling switches the machine from injection to holding pressure.
The amplifier offers the user a variety of benefits: there is no need for manual optimisation of the switching point; viscosity fluctuations are compensated; the quality of parts remains constant; and the system is machine-independent. Also, premature switching is eliminated.
