The Man-Tech PC-TitrationPlus laboratory system is a combined pH, conductivity, ion analysis and titration workstation, with the capability for automated analysis of up to 179 samples.

This consolidation of several workstations with automated sample analysis by the use of PC TitrationPlus leads to a reduction in cost and turnaround time for a number of applications in the inorganic analytical and environmental laboratory. Consolidated inorganic wet chemistry methods include pH, conductivity, alkalinity, fluoride, ammonia, phosphate, chloride, sulfate, sulfite, cyanide, nitrate, hardness and silica.

Since the system enables the analyses to be grouped together, an economy of scale savings takes effect for the user. An example of this is the analysis of pH, conductivity, alkalinity, fluoride and chloride. Since this analysis represents nine parameters (ie, recall the automatic alkalinity specification), and since 179 samples may be analysed, a total of 1611 parameters are determined in one run. The cost for this complete analysis is only marginally more than the cost to complete total alkalinity alone.

The system enables one set of results from one instrument to be transferred to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Furthermore, the system takes up less bench space and is low maintenance. Also, the large capacity autosampler allows for significant, unattended analysis runs overnight.
