Analog-digital multimeter

Gossen Metrawatt has released the MetraHit One, a full featured digital multimeter, with a CAT III rating.

It features automatic blocking sockets (ABS), which prevent incorrect connection of measurement cables and inadvertent selection of the wrong measured quantity. It has automatic/manual measuring range selection, displays negative values at the analog scale for zero frequency quantities, stores min-max values which can be continuously stored and refreshed and has automatic storage of the measured values.

The MetraHit One allows for the detection of short circuits and interrupted conductors as well as having a power saving circuit feature which switches off the device if the measured value remains unchanged for a period of approximately 10 mins. It also features a protective cover for harsh conditions and has an optional infrared interface.
