Turck opens an Australian-based subsidiary

Tuesday, 18 December, 2007

German-based Hans Turck, a manufacturer of products designed for factory and process automation industries, has founded Turck Australia in Melbourne.

Micromax will remain Turck's distribution arm for factory automation focused products with the full support of the new local subsidiary to help grow the product market. "The company is already positioned well where Turck products are traditionally represented, such as in the automotive industry," said Cameron Dwyer, managing director of the Australian subsidiary, "but the need was evident for a direct guiding hand to help position Turck's emerging products, such as process control and RFID."
