The Technology Exhibitions Week held at Rho, Milan's new exhibition centre, from 20 through 23 September drew over 65,000 visitors. The event was dedicated to components, instrumentation, electronics, automation, motion control and industrial maintenance and aimed to test a new format by hosting five pre-eminent international trade shows at the same time.
The shows were: BIAS, the automation, instrumentation and electronics component expo celebrating its 50th anniversary; Fluidtrans Compomac, the fluid power expo celebrating its 40th anniversary; Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control, dedicated to transmission organs, Bias Manufacturing Solutions, global solutions for industry IT; and Bi.Man, the world's most comprehensive and up-to-date expo dedicated to industrial maintenance.
Over 2000 exhibitors participated in the 4-day event, which drew large crowds of managers, engineers and technicians from all industries and branches of application and attracted substantial numbers of foreign nationals; 19% of attendees were from abroad.
Over 2000 exhibitors participated; alongside regular European players, the event attracted players from emerging markets and, particularly, from East and Far East.
