Quintiq opens subsidiary for ANZ market
Quintiq, a global provider of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) solutions, has announced the opening of a subsidiary for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Quintiq Australia and New Zealand, located in Melbourne, will be responsible for all sales, marketing and implementations in the trans-Tasman area.
"Our market holds great potential for growth in virtually all areas of APS and hence for Quintiq," said Chris Macquet, business director of the subsidiary.
"This market must also overcome the challenges created by its relative isolation, great geographic distances between population centres and stringent environmental requirements."
The company appointed two business directors to head the office. Rob van Egmond, an experienced Quintiq manager, will be in charge of project delivery and project management for Quintiq's customers in Australia and New Zealand; Chris Macquet, who has extensive experience in the local APS market, will manage all sales and marketing activities in the region.
