Tuesday, 15 November, 2005
The Pressure Equipment Association Inc (PEAI) is a well-established Australian industry association which represents manufacturers and suppliers of all types of pressure devices including air receivers, gas tanks, boilers, heat exchangers, refrigeration receivers and driers, road tankers and similar equipment for industry.
The charter of the Association brings together all stakeholders in the industry, including manufacturers and component suppliers with the objective of promoting, maintaining and representing the Australian pressure equipment industry in local and overseas markets.
In recent years, the PEAI has been active on a number of fronts, including representation on a number of Australian Standards committees, exchanging technical information and actively promoting the viability and capacity of a vital Australian industry.
Key linkages are established with other industry organisations including the Welding Technology Institute of Australia and the Australian Manufactured Stamp Scheme.
Owner operators, designers, inspectors and equipment suppliers in addition to manufacturing companies are invited to join and support the PEAI and to this end a comprehensive Association website, www.peai.com.au, has been launched. The website will assist in searching for information on pressure equipment and related component manufacturers and suppliers.
