Outokumpu appointment

With more than 20 years' mining and heavy construction experience, Mr Peter de Groot has been appointed service manager for Outokumpu Technology's Minerals Processing division in Australia.
Mr de Groot will head a team of customer support engineers, providing total management of field services in Australia's minerals processing plants. The role includes developing and implementing service agreements, encompassing minerals processing technologies, as well as preventive maintenance.
Peter de Groot is widely known in the industry both for his expertise in greenfield and brownfield construction and also in plant relocation, installation, commissioning and servicing of key thickening, flotation and automation technologies.
