Exporter and leading NZ farm machinery manufacturer, Giltrap Engineering was faced with a difficult decision. Its buildings needed to be upgraded and its computer system was not allowing it to run its business efficiently. What would be the best use of its money? This is one of the biggest questions Giltrap has had to answer for some time.

Companies with less foresight would say - improve the plant first. But the company could see that by putting its manufacturing systems in place, Giltrap was setting the foundations for profitable growth for many years into the future.

The Vantage digital dashboard continually advises senior factory team members (without having to be asked), vital information such as quotations to chase up, overdue purchase orders, jobs running behind and material shortages.

Giltrap will be able to use the on-screen scheduler and its 'what if' capabilities to schedule the jobs through the factory in the most efficient manner.
