Wednesday, 11 March, 2009

Environmental control, carbon neutral and dust filtration specialist Donaldson Australasia has appointed a new Managing Director to oversee operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Roger Miller has an 11-year history with Donaldson that has boosted him into the senior leadership role in Australia and New Zealand operations.

He began with Donaldson as a human resources generalist working at the Donaldson Bloomington office in Minnesota, USA.

He worked his way up the ranks to plant manager in Hull, UK, before becoming director of the company’s Industrial Air Filtration (IAF) aftermarket product in the US in May 2004. In 2005, he assumed responsibility of the US Ultrafilter business — a role he held for the past three years.

The company has stated that his experience in human resources, operations and business unit management provides a background that positions him well for success in Australia.
