National Manufacturing Week 2007 'Australian made'
Thursday, 15 February, 2007
National Manufacturing Week 2007 (NMW) is to be held from 22-25 May at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre.
The 2007 show will introduce a new section that is designed to highlight Australian made manufacturing products and make participation easier and less expensive for smaller manufacturers.
"This year we are starting an 'Australian made' section, where any companies who manufacture in Australia can have a presence," said John Gorton, director - Industrial with NMW.
"With many end users looking to source locally designed, developed and manufactured products where possible, we are confident this will be a popular new theme with both Australian-based exhibitors and also visitors to NMW 2007."
Industry pavilions featuring at NMW 2007 include: general manufacturing; logistics and materials handling; computer technology; process and control; machine tools; automation and robotics; welding; health and safety; air technology.
