Markem, Imaje merge to form largest product identification specialist

Dover Corporation has announced the combination of two of its Dover Engineered Systems companies: US-based Markem Corporation and French-based Imaje S.A.

The newly combined business, now called Markem.Imaje, claims to be the world ’s largest product identification solutions provider, able to provide a comprehensive range of marking and coding solutions for packaging industry customers around the world.

“Customers in the packaging industry are increasingly looking for partners who can deliver a complete, global solution at the best cost of ownership,” said Serge Kral, appointed president of Markem.Imaje.

“Markem.Imaje is now better positioned than any other supplier to meet these customer needs.”
