Hydraulic power generation system provided for jet

Eaton Corporation has been selected by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer to provide the hydraulic power generation system for its Phenom 300 light jet program.

The project includes the design, development and manufacture of the aircraft's hydraulic power generation system.

The Phenom 300 jet will accommodate up to nine occupants. Its range with six occupants will be 1,800 nautical miles (3,334 km or 2,071 miles) with NBAA IFR reserves, 35 minutes and 100 nm alternate. The aircraft is capable of flying at 45,000 feet at a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.78 and is also designed for short field takeoffs.
