Health and safety highlighted at NMW

The Futuresafe Conference, organised by the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA), will address the key issues facing occupational health and safety and risk management professionals.

The conference will include a first class program of keynotes, technical sessions, workshops and networking events covering topics such as behavioural safety, management responsibility, labour hire and outsourcing, safe plant design, and workers' compensation. The Futuresafe Exhibition will showcase the latest products and technologies aimed at improving safety for both personnel and assets. Displays will cover a broad range of manufacturing industry requirements from employee training through to protective clothing and eyewear. A number of new products will also be launched including a new online health and safety management system. Visitors will be able to learn about preventative safety techniques including handling solutions, electrical safety systems, industrial sensors and emission monitoring devices.
