NHP has announced the signed agreement between R Stahl and NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd for the purpose of distributing its range of hazardous area equipment into the Australian market.
R Stahl is a leading manufacturer of hazardous area products with sales organisations in over 40 countries. The company's program dovetails effectively into NHP's existing product offering and facilitates more comprehensive customer solutions.
The combined range of equipment includes light fittings, terminal boxes, control stations and an extensive suite of automation products.
The hazardous area market in Australia is extensive and growing. NHP managing director, CEO Lloyd Thomas states, "Together, NHP and R STAHL, will prove to be a formidable force in the Australian hazardous area market and will look to quickly gain significant market share."
NHP's National Distribution and Manufacturing centre at Laverton, Victoria, will form an integral part of NHP's hazardous area equipment offer to the market providing customisation locally to suit customer's specific needs.
NHP will officially launch Stahl in Australia in 2007, when the two brands come together.
