GE Fanuc partners with Pepperl+Fuchs

GE Fanuc Automation has announced that it has formed an agreement with Pepperl + Fuchs North America to provide interface components for connections in industrial automation systems.

The systems include Profibus-based analog signal transfer and digital fieldbus communication and the Proficy Process Systems.

"Our relationship with GE Fanuc is a strategic partnership that will allow both companies to highlight their industry-leading solutions," said Jim Bolin, chief operating officer of process automation at Pepperl + Fuchs.

"The combination of GE Fanuc's control system and our infrastructure equipment and powerful diagnostic tools will help our mutual customers to take advantage of the powerful features of fieldbus."
