GE Fanuc and Wipro Technologies combine global services

GE Fanuc Automation has announced that it and Wipro Technologies will work together globally to provide the automotive industry with solutions in the production management area.

The relationship should provide significant value to customers looking to integrate their production management and ERP systems, by leveraging Wipro's knowledge of GE Fanuc production management solutions and their expertise in ERP.

"GE Fanuc and Wipro Technologies have substantial experience and shared relationships with the leaders in the automotive industry, making this arrangement beneficial to our clients," said Sudip Banerjee, president of enterprise solutions for Wipro Technologies.

"The manufacturing operations of automotive industry present large-scale implementation challenges that are well served by this arrangement."
