Furnace acquires Wesmartin

On 30 August 2006, the business and assets of Wesmartin Pty Ltd were acquired by Furnace Engineering Pty Ltd.

Wesmartin was located in Sydney, NSW, and its core business has been the manufacture, design and installation of a wide range of industrial drying and heating equipment, varying from pharmaceutical tray dryers, sterilising ovens, fluid bed dryers and ovens for the food industry through to continuous dryers, industrial furnaces and incinerators.

For over 30 years, Furnace Engineering, a Melbourne-based firm with strong international technology ties, has been designing and supplying a broad range of heat processing equipment to customers in Australia and the South-East Asian region. The company employs over 70 people and delivers engineered heat processing solutions to all areas of industry.
