Frost & Sullivan has selected Emerson Process Management as the recipient of the 2006 South-East Asian Customer Service Leadership Award for Process Automation Suppliers.

Emerson was recognised for responding to customer needs, and demonstrating a continual focus on long- and short-term customer profitability goals.

Frost & Sullivan cited the edge that Emerson achieves through the combination of predictive technology, expert services personnel and services infrastructure, placing the company above its competitors in terms of customer service. The predictive intelligence of PlantWeb digital plant architecture is helping customers achieve high availability, and operations and maintenance productivity in installations throughout Asia and around the world. PlantWeb networks operations, maintenance and management stations with computers and intelligent instruments, valves and equipment throughout facilities.

Communications between these components and with personnel enable facilities to provide high throughput and reliability. The built-in intelligence continuously monitors processes and the equipment itself, providing predictive reports and alerts that enable personnel to operate at highest capacity, and resolve maintenance issues before they impact production.
