DNA automation for Finland
Saturday, 21 February, 2004
Helsinki Energia has ordered metsoDNA automation solution for its coal-fired Salmisaari power plant in Finland. The automation system modernisation is a part of the power plant's project of replacing the outdoor coal yard with the underground storage with four coal silos.
The new metsoDNA automation solution will cover the control of the Salmisaari power plant's coal carriage and storing. The plant already has Metso Automation's reporting system in use. The start-up of the modernised power plant is scheduled for mid-2004.
